About the work: Hiba Alakkads usually works with textile, metals, wood and paper in her paintings, sculptors and installations to create a scene of collage. “For me, the greatest interest that I have experienced in my entire life is creating and developing my artistic expression and my technique. I create my artwork from my memory, therefore my works have appeared very much as a diary. My art shows more of my deep personal images and experiences, but at the same time it reflects the image of being a woman in general.”
